Introduction
MiPlayer ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our video player application (the "App") for iOS devices, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The App is designed to keep your media on your device: your video files, playback history, and bookmarks are stored locally and are never uploaded to our servers. However, certain features communicate with our servers and third-party services, as described below.
Information We Collect
1. Device and App Information
When the App launches, it sends a configuration request to our servers to fetch feature settings. This request includes:
- A device identifier (the iOS identifierForVendor, or a locally generated device ID)
- Device model, operating system version, and app version
- Language, region, time zone, and network type
- Your subscription status
2. Video Page URLs for Parsing
When you use the App's parsing feature to extract video information from a web page, the URL of that page is sent to our self-hosted video parsing service. The service analyzes the page and returns the video stream information. We do not upload or store the video files themselves.
3. Analytics and Diagnostic Data
The App contains several analytics channels, each controlled by a remote feature switch:
- Self-hosted analytics (operated on Cloudflare infrastructure): when enabled, collects parse-related events such as parse success/failure, the page URL being parsed (with sensitive query parameters removed), error categories, and a device identifier. This switch is off by default.
- Umeng analytics and Microsoft Clarity (third-party SDKs): when enabled, collect usage events, page visits, app version, language, region, and session diagnostic data. Both are disabled by default.
Analytics data is used to diagnose parsing failures, understand feature usage, and improve the App.
4. Subscription and Purchase Information
MiPlayer offers paid subscriptions processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to verify and manage your subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts from Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details; all payment processing is handled by Apple.
5. Feedback Information
If you submit feedback through the App, we collect the information you provide — your problem description, an optional screenshot, your device identifier, and your membership type — to investigate and respond to your report.
How We Use Information
- To provide core features (video parsing, subscription verification)
- To deliver feature configuration and announcements to the App
- To diagnose parsing failures and improve reliability
- To respond to your feedback and support requests
Data Storage
Our servers are self-hosted and run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and related storage services). Your media files, playback history, and bookmarks remain stored locally on your device and are not accessible to us.
Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Apple (App Store / StoreKit) — payment processing and purchase receipts
- RevenueCat — subscription status management
- Cloudflare — hosting for our parsing service, APIs, and self-hosted analytics
- Umeng — usage analytics (remote-controlled, disabled by default)
- Microsoft Clarity — usage analytics and session diagnostics (remote-controlled, disabled by default)
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
Remote Feature Switches
Some data collection in the App is controlled by remote configuration switches. The self-hosted parse analytics switch (collectParseAnalytics) is off by default. Third-party analytics (Umeng, Microsoft Clarity) are likewise disabled by default. When these switches are off, no corresponding analytics events are collected or transmitted.
Media Access
The App requests access to your device's photo library only when you choose to save a video to your album. Media files remain on your device and are never transmitted elsewhere.
Data Retention and Your Rights
Feedback submissions are retained only as long as needed to process your report. Analytics events are retained for operational analysis on our self-hosted platform. You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information associated with your device identifier or feedback submissions.
Children's Privacy
Our App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

- 友盟分析及 Microsoft Clarity（第三方 SDK）：开启后收集使用事件、页面访问、应用版本、语言、地区和会话诊断数据。两者均默认关闭。
分析数据用于诊断解析失败、了解功能使用情况以及改进本应用。
4. 订阅与购买信息
MiPlayer 提供通过 App Store 由 Apple 处理的付费订阅。我们使用 RevenueCat（第三方订阅管理服务）来验证和管理您的订阅状态。RevenueCat 会收到匿名应用用户 ID 和来自 Apple 的购买凭证。我们不会接收或存储您的支付卡信息；所有支付处理均由 Apple 完成。
5. 反馈信息

反馈提交仅保留至处理完您的报告所需的时间。分析事件保留在我们的自建平台上用于运营分析。您可以随时联系我们，请求访问、更正或删除与您的设备标识符或反馈提交相关的个人信息。
儿童隐私
本应用不会故意收集 13 岁以下儿童的个人信息。如果您认为有儿童向我们提供了个人信息，请联系我们，我们将予以删除。
本隐私政策的变更
我们可能会不时更新本隐私政策。如有变更，我们将通过在本页面发布新的隐私政策并更新"最后更新"日期来通知您。
